All Ohio
Team
Awarded to the top 10 athletes from the season. This All-Ohio team includes seven athletes with physical disabilities and three athletes without a disability (Class 2AB). The criteria for the winners include athletic excellence and sportsmanship.
Athlete of the Year with a Disability
Awarded to the best athlete with a disability from the All-Ohio Team. The criteria for the winner include athletic excellence, sportsmanship, leadership, and exemplary character.
Athlete of the Year Without a Disability
Awarded to the best athlete without a physical disability from the All-Ohio Team. The criteria for the winner include athletic excellence, sportsmanship, leadership, and exemplary character.
Coach of the Year
Awarded to the best head coach in the league. The criteria for the winner include sportsmanship, leadership, and exemplary character.
District of the Year
Awarded to a district demonstrating a commitment to inclusion, passionate leadership, and superior community engagement.
Evan Heller Championship MVP
Awarded annually to the most valuable player of the state championship game. This honor is named for a Wooster alumnus who led the Generals to win the first three state championships, scoring 27+ points in four of his six postseason games. Heller went on to play for Auburn University, scoring as many as 43 points in a game for the Tigers, and for the US men’s under-23 team.
