Why Should You Consider Being

An Official?

Becoming an interscholastic wheelchair basketball official allows you to make a meaningful impact on your community. Bring your officiating skills, passion for sports, and commitment to fair play to athletes who deserve the same level of respect and professionalism as any other competitors.

When you officiate for students with physical disabilities, you’re not just calling a game, you’re helping create an environment where these students are respected as true athletes. Treat every game with the same standards and enthusiasm you would for traditional basketball, and help these students experience the joy and pride of true athletic competition.
